About Wasioja Oaks
We started our longhorn journey in 2023 when we purchased a few unregistered Longhorns. In late 2023 we purchased our first registered Texas Longhorn cow/calf pair. What started as a passion quickly became a family journey and a commitment to preserving and promoting this remarkable breed. Here in the beautiful Cuyama Valley, surrounded by wide-open country and a strong ranching heritage, we found the perfect place to grow our herd, our knowledge, and our dreams. Through careful selection, hard work, dedication, and a focus on quality genetics, our herd has grown to more than 40 Texas Longhorns. Our program is more than just raising cattle—it is a labor of love, a way of life, and something we are proud to build together, with the hope of creating a lasting legacy one generation at a time.
